Well the last few weeks have been crazy. I’m getting married next Saturday in Prague, which truly seems surreal, so I do apologise for the lack of posts! Somewhere (I don’t know where), I managed to find time to enter a remix competition for this Dynasty Electric track. Thankfully I managed to do the track in a night and re-edit it in the last hour. I described it on Indaba as sounding something like a remix by Air and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry in a bathroom, so it’s actually a mile from what I normally make.
If you like the remix, please, please, please support me! The voting should start sometime next month and believe me when I say, I REALLY need your votes. Last time I did a remix competition on Indaba, it was pretty much a social network popularity contest and I lost big time (I came somewhere like 150th out of 600 entries).
Well, this will probably be my last post for a while, as I’m flying out Monday to be married. I’m leaving the fate of this one to you guys (and gals), but I will post a link to the competition from sunny Bali when the voting begins.
Everyone loves a remix competition… Apart from when the winner is based on how many facebook friends you have. But I’m sure this isn’t like that! Funky little Lifelike track, looking forward to checking what everyone else does with this.
